Football - and it was a good day for our local sides yesterday. Colchester were 1-0 winners at Walsall in League 1. Meanwhile Southend United surprised League 2 leaders Torquay 2-1 at Roots Hall. Elsewhere - Chelmsford City and Braintree Town both won in Blue Square South.
